Poetry Week

The First annual Poetry Week took place from February 2nd to 6th. This was a whole school event that involved a focus on poetry in the curriculum. Various grades  and subjects participated in creating  video poems, illustrations for poetry as well as preparing poetry recitals.

The Worst Poem competition took place this week as well. The two winning Entries for poor poems with structure can be found below.

Random O Haiku              What Am I to Tell you. don't!

                                          What am I supposed to do,                     I ask myself how can she,

La la la la la                        just watch you kiss another?                   how can she make you happy?

la la la la la la la                 That is something I should do,                but don't change I'll let you be.

la la la la la                        because you done even mind.

                                                                                                        How could I not see all this?
